|Subject: ||Could someone please explain proper etiquette when given a job?|
I worked for a guy last summer and ended on good terms. He recently offered me a similar but higher paying job for this summer. It's a position that would be somewhat difficult to fill if I don't take it. Problem is, I don't really want to take it as I've been offered another job I'd rather take. I don't want to put my old boss in a bind or burn any bridges though, so I'm having trouble deciding what is the right thing to do. He's been good to me and has written me a letter of rec... He would have nearly two months to the fill the job if I don't take it though, which I feel should be long enough.
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I've in my early twenties and haven't really had to deal with this sort of situation before.
