|Subject: ||RE: How much should I be running over the summer?|
Actually you shouldn't be running at all in the summer. The heat is exhausting. You could try swimming 2 times a week for about a mile and doing some plyometrics. As running seasons are during spring and fall, you should concentrate some of your efforts there, running 5 times a week in September and 6 times / week in October and November. I believe you could go breaking 2:45 in 1000 meter run, the next spring.
