400´s with 2minute rest is too long recovery to tell the shape of your aerobic power. But I believe that you have a hard time to go much under a 5min mile.
I once did 8x400 with 60sec rec at 65,8sec average, and that was exactly the pace that I could run 1500m that summer.
Maybe you could do ONE session of 8x400 with 60sec recovery and check the average pace and add 1-2seconds to it for your mile goal pace. Keep the base runs going and you´re ready for your race.
