|Subject: ||RE: 2010 SoCon Cross Country|
Their top guy has run 25:50. That right there says it all.
Let's take that 25:50 into context a little bit. Supposedly the conditions weren't ideal - Idk what that means really, I wasn't there. But I found this interesting...
4 Forrester, David JR Florida State 25:47.6 5 Taylor, Alex JR Appalachian State 25:50.7
David Forrester finished 18th last week at Notre Dame with a time of 24:33 and he was also 53rd at NCAAs last year in cross. He's definitely legit. I am by no way saying Taylor is a top 60 national runner (as evidenced by his performance last week). But Alex Taylor and Will Raby both have the ability to finish in the top 7 at conference. But yes, App pulling off conference this year would be a little bit of surprise in my opinion.
