I don't see how you think it would not be possible for him to run under 4.30. There have been people that have run under 4.30 in their first attempt in Running the mile. The guy obviously is athletic, obviously trains. Not for that certain event but im sure you seen high school soccer players come out on a typical high school team and run a 4.40 and or even sub 4.40. The guy is a pro athlete at a world class level. The sport "running" is not this impossible feat for some people. Some people can train very little or "play" a different sport switch to running and run a sub 17 5k, again on the the high school level. So for a world record holder to run the mile yes I think he can beat a little bit above average high school time 4.30.
if you by the premise that bolt could do it, i think you would have to also argue that everyone in the 100m/200 final in berlin and beijing, could run sub 4:30 as well, and do you really believe that?
