|Subject: ||RE: Andrew Springer new HS. best mile time 4:10.61 at Yale invitational|
Andrew Springer from Rhode Island ran the fastest high school mile today at the Yale Invitational in 4:10.61 after running 4:10 last night at 1600 meters in the anchor leg of the relay. Mark Feigen also from Rhode Island finished second in 4:14.68 over Omar Addi. Both runners punched their tickets to the Millrose mile next month. Springer looks to be the favorite going into that race. Your picks and comments welcome.
This is all well and good but is he as good as some obscure guy from Australia who no one has heard of nor cares about because this site is based in the U.S. You know they'll be someone from down under braggin' about he's going to take the world by storm just like Mottram hasn't.
