|Subject: ||RE: 2008 DIII XC|
Heard from 3 different coaches at the Paul Short meet, the course ran the fastest they've ever seen it. Ground hard, cool and not humid, and the seeded race leader went out in 430, pulling the whole race out fast. Most thought it ran 20 seconds faster than past years, for whatever thats worth.
Did Calvin and Steven Point run everyone? I did notice one of the calvin guys whose name I knew from past years was way back, as was Kaul. Anyone have any info on whose hurt or not on any of those teams?
Other Oshkosh kid is running well, NC looked strong, but no one up front really, no not sure how that group fits in at an NCAA type race? Look at LAX last year, great pack running to get 70-75th places
Oshkosh and Oberlin meets in 2 weeks will tell alot, with alot of inter-regional (ranked teams) competition at both.
