Lots of people pr in the marathon well into their 30's. Tergat, Korir, Geb, etc. are at the top of the world(Korir ran 2:06 at age 34 this year-geb 2:05 at 33).
I think its great what you are doing, but why put the limit of 22-27? What if you have a 28:00 10k runner at age 28, or 29? Are they turned away? Its great what you guys are trying to do, but the age restriction seems a little stiff.
To combat message board spam (by non runners). We are making people answer a brief question before they can post on a thread that is over 20 days old.
If you answer this question you should be able to post.
