Just a basic neutral trainer.
Saucony Ride ISO,
Nike Pegasus,
New Balance 880,
Adidas Boston,
and more all fill the same role in a lineup. About as standard as a shoe can be. The ghost is one of the most standard.

I would NOT consider the Boston similar, it's much less padded and lighter. It's my race-day shoe to my every-day ghosts. yes, i'm a hobbyjogger

Not the Boston, or the Pegasus.
Vomero 10-13
1080 NB
The Ghost has a 12mm drop too.
Old Pegaus
The 1080 is certainly too heavy to compare to the Ghost, the vomero is pushing it so I’d still run with the Pegasus as the most similar shoe from Nike

You're right. Adidas Supernova is a better equivalent.
Brooks Launch, although has a 10mm drop as opposed to Ghost’s 12mm drop
When the brooks ghost 1 came out in 2009-2010 it was a fast paced trainer for workouts/tempo runs. Now it is a big trainer
