I am in need of help. I'm a male track runner
who runs the 1600 and 3200. I have been running for about a year now working my mileage up to 45 mpw (current). I have a little over a month and 5 track meets to achieve my two goals-qualify for state and break 10:00 the 3200. To qualify for state you need to get top three in the region, and I am currently ranked 3rd (1st-9:56,2nd 10:19, Me-10:23, 4th-10:31. My prs so far are 10:23, and 4:47(didn't really push). What workouts should I be doing to give myself the best chance to break 10 and more importantly qualify for state.
