10th at the NYC half marathon, losing to a slew of Americans. He's definitely not getting any younger. Is it time for him to start considering a career in real estate?

Passes the Lukezic test
- Can run 13:15
- Might be a 4:20 guy
But he has xc skiing he could fall back on.
I may be remembering this wrong, but I think Ben True has previously run halfs before unleashing nasty 10k's on the road or track. Tune-up, maybe?
True is a smart guy. He'll quit when he knows it's time. I think he's got some good races in him yet. I hope he can still go sub 13, but if he's moving up, maybe he'll make sub 27. I don't honestly see him as a marathoner. I'm sure he could run 2:09. It seems like sub 2:06 guys always train in groups, True doesn't really, though.
Come on!
The guy probably had a bad day, as it can happen to anyone. Had he DNF'd (as some elite would do instead of placing that bad) you would be bashing him anyway.
Dude owns a coffee roasting company. Seems if you're comfortably self-employed while doing elite training there would be no rush to phase out the running.
i mean he ran a 13:04 last summer... so i'd say he is still far from being too old
would love to see him at the olympics next year

He's not done yet
