I have two meets in a weeks time and I'd figure Letsrun could be useful for some input.
The first one is a triangular scrimmage and two days later we have our first dual. I want to run the 3200 and 1600 at these meets but I'm not sure if I should run the 1600 first and then 3200 at the second meet or vice versa. The tough option would be to double at both of these meets but I think I should ease into it.
Some extra background info I returned from an ankle sprain and have been training for the last two weeks around 33 miles a week and am looking to add some more on this week.
I ran a 2:27 off a week and a half of training after I came back from an injury last season, and I'm going to be doing a 5k soon and expect to PR there, which will give me a good sense of what I can do in 1600 and 3200. Before I get any replies I'd like to say thank you for any responses I get, I appreciate anyone taking the time out of their day to answer this.
