decent? I find there's a lot of carrier over from the front squat to the track.
also, 225x5 power cleans at the same height and weight. how does this compare to an elite runner's lifts?

You need to carrier over your posting to the stupid head body builder forum somewhere else.

Elite runners run, and don't bother with nonsense stuff like you post about.

So far, I am too uncoordinated/lazy to figure out how to front squat properly. I need to start though. Leg extensions are getting rougher on my knees with every passing year.

I think I’ve rarely shared my actual PRs here. They are higher than the last time I shared.
Leg extensions can wreck your knees over time. They are a horrible exercise for most athletes.
Do a cross armed front Squat:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I5GaxSYLCScGood video. Ignore everything he says after the walk out.
1. Stop thinking hip hinge first. You break at the hip and knee AT THE SAME TIME
2. Stance will depend on your ankle mobility. The front Squat REQUIRES a more vertical torso than other squat variations. If your ankle mobility sucks then you might have to assume a wider and more foot outward stance.
3. Take a big belly breath, hold it, brace down like someone is going to hit you, squat, stand up, breath out.
4. Thighs travel over foot roughly thighs parallel to feet, unless you like knee pain.
OP lifts will make the the strongest guy in most gyms. Yay.

way heavier than any elite distance runner
probably heavier than most elite short sprinters
way lighter than any elite thrower
probably most comparable to elite jumpers
but do you do anything else besides lift?
15 reps on the front squat? Sounds miserable. I think I remember doing some sets at 10-12 reps and was gasping for breath because the bar basically rests on your windpipe. And unless you're like some of these people that take 7-second rests between reps, there's not much time to catch your breath. Just do 5 reps, heavier. Or work up to a single heavy. 5-5-5 (warmup) 5-3-1. Workout done.

No. I totally suck at running.

I'm calling BS. Post a video or a picture of you in the bottom of your squat. I would be willing to bet that you're not hitting proper depth.

It shouldn’t rest on your windpipe. It should rest on your front delts.

it's 205x15 on the front squat
why are you trying to extract a value from it?
It's decent. I hit 5x225 (ATG) @ 158 pounds. I'm 5'9".
Not much else to say. Nothing special in the world of power-lifting, of course.
Most sprinters could easily pull those numbers, and higher. Distance runners? No.
I don’t front squat heavy. It’s a secondary exercise for me towards the end of my workout. I’ll hit 3 sets of 10, strict 60s rest and do 175 without any issues. I’ll hit a Push Jerk, then Heavy Deads, some heavy rows, then light DB Bench and Front Squat. then some bi/tri/ab stuff for a total body workout.
Lifting is similar to running in that your comparison is all about how shallow your pool is. In a regular gym a 225lb front squat for any reps would be considered strong. Then you realize there are people who front Squat 800lbs.
Alan
I low bar back squat 315 x 6 so I should maybe go all out on the front just to see what I can do.
One “should” be able to front squat 80-90% of their back squat. Also a good upper/lower balance your bench and front squat will be about the same.
