Recommendations for where to run?
Recommendations for where to run?
Ha- I’m in the same boat. Pickings are slim for long distance unless you don’t mind repeating same route over and over. Lots of websites out there that will give you the puny trails. Unless others have some hidden gems, I will probably stick to the “Jeff Galloway New Balance mile” that runs between my resort and another one. It’s...ok.
thank you the authorities have been notified of your whereabouts
Do you have a car? You're not too far from the Clermont loop (dirt roads, hilly by Orlando standards). The loop is 5 Mile Road - Schofield Road - Bradshaw Rd; it's about 10 miles around.
No shade though so go early in the morning or late in the evening.
Spring Break at Disney World...
I'm sorry.
I recommend running around ponds, especially if you see bubbles in the water.
Where are you staying? I believe all (or at least most) of the official disney resorts have some sort of path nearby available for running.

I would second this one. I think I tried to talk you into this one on a past Florida trip. The other poster is correct - there is no shade whatsoever on this loop, so you definitely want to get out there early.
Looks like a $20 Uber ride.
Orlando resident here. Your best option is to run the loop around one of the lakes. Hourglass lake is a good one. Not the best running but you're here for vacation. Avoid running in the sun as it will wipe your energy.
1. Get your own handle.
2. Try the 5mile loop around the Swan near Epcot. Also, there are some trails near the part of campus that has all the RV/Camper parking, not too far from the Polynesian.

LOLZ....You been TROLLED! HARD! @##@##
If you don't make a pilgrimage to the Clay Loop then you aren't a real runner...Other nice places to run:
Clermont Waterfront Park(4miles on the Minneola Lakefront)
Dowtown Winter Garden(West Orange Bike trail to Clermont)
Lake Louisa State Park(Right across the road from the clay and a super nice place to run)
These are the main spots that the triathletes and visiting teams run at. A bit of a drive from the mouse but the whole Clermont area is known as a good Winter Training destination. The professional team with Brooks Hansons trains there every winter.

This kid wants to be me. I am flattered, actually.
One day, maybe you’ll have fans.
10 mile loop looks great. Do you think it's a "busy" enough locale that Ubers will available to drive one back to disney?
