1:19:38 was the official time. It's great when someone sets a goal and works hard to achieve it! Congrats Hardloper!!

No but reports are that he did shout this is MAG* country as he was crossing the finish line.

This is probably a BS thread, but what race if it's actually true?
I had a 1:39.xx 1/2 Marathon split on less than 25 miles per week. Considering my weight and my best events are and were far shorter distances than 1/2 Marathon &/or Marathon. I proclaim I was a potential sub-1:20 1/2 Marathoner also.

There's no one who ran 1:19:38 for the 1/2 in New York.

Thanks for all the support, fans! Was a hilly course but I didn't want to let down my large fan base.

What race man? I'm a hardloper fan but had no idea you were racing today.

Even your haters gonna give you a high 5, well done sir, well done.
Impressive to hit your goal even after the rather brutal winter in SEA this year.
Next goal?

Thanks. I did a lot of treadmill workouts for the first time this winter and it worked surprisingly well. My next goal is a BQ which is theoretically easy but I totally bombed last time I ran a marathon.
