Or perhaps pull a Kathryn Switzer?
Or perhaps pull a Kathryn Switzer?
Tell them you identify as a woman. If they reject your entry, tell them they're biggots.
show up and crush the course record, insist that you identify as a woman and that you are proud to represent women every where.
Nope.
Women deserve the feeling of forming a pack behind the lead vehicle and not finishing in a clump of men. Find another race.

100%. You'd definitely make the news.
why would you want to do this? just to be a prick?

Sure, and I'm going to go back in time twenty years and sue all the race organisers who paid less prize money to female medallists in races I was placed in, or paid out first prize only, while they paid out first five males.
That would be over fifty races.
My mom, who aged 57, could still run a sub 21 minute 5k time, is going to sue all big marathon race organisers who didn't let women run until Switzer managed to fight them off. She could have gone to the Olympics.
Have you considered volunteering? Perhaps it might enlighten you as to the positive benefits of having such an event and even make you less insistent on undermining it.

This is a social justice issue. Reverse sexism.

And now I want those opportunities for men, too.
Did you actually try to sign up and get rejected? A lot of events that are targeted at a specific subset of the population will actually allow anyone to enter if they're enough of a toolbag to want to. If you haven't actually been denied entry, whatever tenuous case you have goes out the window.
Men typically aren't bothered by these kinds of things. Unless you are referring to the women's Olympic marathon trials the race would probably let you run. I have seen photos from women's only races with men running.
There are men only races too. Man on the run etc.
I don't see why you would feel the need to sue. Almost all of my HS and College races were men only.

Don't forget the greater participation rates for competitive males and fast dropoff in performance on the women's side. Women receiving equal prize money by place in a race is as unfair as it would be if WNBA players made as much as guys in the NBA.
You should participate in the race.
pass out water at mile 2, do check in, generally be kind to the ladies.
When you already run the world, why get upset about being excluded from a women's only race?
Don't be a dick. Go and volunteer instead.

The men are the ones who should sue. Why do women deserve to be compensating for lesser performances than men? Is that how it is in the workplace? Do you have lower sales quotas for women or do you have lower numbers of students that women have to teach or do you have lower output numbers on a production line for women? Why should a woman who runs 16 minutes be paid the same as a man who runs 14 minutes while all of the guys running 15 minutes get nothing? Good luck. You will bring the house of cards down.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
