Tie goes to NOP.
which has a better chance to medal at worlds?
Donavan ran great... but.
Grant Holloway won his race while setting the record and won multiple events at the NCAA all on the same weekend.
Grant Holloway gets my vote.
Ummm....ever heard of Jessica Hull?
brazier set a world record....
Who cares? It's T&FN, irrelevant, DGAF.

Indoor doesn't count anyway, especially in an odd year.
This is so racist to choose Brazier over Holloway. Brazier is half white, so that obviously why they chose him. Bigots!
Holloway is laughing his ace off. His bank is going to dwarf Li'l Brazio's when the ink hits the paper.
Bet they pick Holloway as the male collegiate aoy so they can spread the awards around. Would not be surprised to see 5 more awards - us female of the year - 2 NCAA athletes of the year and 2 hs athletes of the year

Bull.
800 athletes are superior because their event is the superior display of athleticism,.
Period.
WR>AR
They're both tremendous athletes. Brazier or Holloway, either is a great choice. A world record though means you've run faster than everyone else in the history of the world. That's pretty amazing.
Kentucky's hurdler was outstanding in that race, pushing Holloway all the way to the line. Still, Saruni was higher quality competition and the indoor hurdling record not as competitive as the indoor 800m record and broken by far less.
Hard to go against Holloway, but on the world level, Brazier is a medal contender right now.
Adding Brazier's win and world best in the 600 would put him over.
Brazier has a world record and he's been racing against the best in his event and hanging with them. On any given day, he could win a World or Olympic medal. You might say the same for Holloway but on a pro level Brazier's development this year has been more impressive to me. The guy took a super long break and came back and killed everything. I give the nod to Donovan but they are both amazing.
