Kinda a new runner, well off and on for a year or so not very consistent. Just got a gym membership finally and got on the treadmill tonight (usually never run on treadmills) and wondering how fast I was going. I started the speed on about 5 and worked up to about 10.5. Wasn't running for very long though only about 15 minutes.
I did a google search and it says that a 10.5 setting on a treadmill = 5.43?
Could that possibly be right? I don't think I'm that fast lol I was thinking more about like a 8 min mile or even higher...
Are all treadmills pretty much the same when it comes to those conversions?
