In England, you can make millions of dollars, but if you still talk and act like a member of the lower class, you are still considered lower class regardless of your wealth. Even someone like David Beckham isn't considered upper class by his countrymen.
Contrast that with the US, where every new money douche bag can instantly be considered "upper class" even if they retain the middle or lower class mannerisms and behaviors.
The Brits have the right idea. Life is about more than just money. You should be measured by how you act, not just by your wealth. People can be incredibly rich, and still be low class.
