He's 36 years old, never ran a race longer than 10km, and he only ran 3 times SC last year in the 8:30s, plus a 14:08 5k. I say he is a DNF in this marathon.
I made a thread when this first came out, I think he'll get the course record.

No DNF if Ezekiel Kemboi knows his current status. If Kemboi were to race at a pace somewhere between elite women Marathoners and top US men Marathoners, Kemboi will finish. Kemboi reminds me of Miruts Yifter, a 48ish 400m man racing 3000m (Yifter raced 5K & 10K but would have been great at 3K).
From reading the article, it sounds like Kemboi is there to help promote the race through his reputation and charisma. It does not sound like he or anyone else expects him to run a fast, competitive time. I am thinking that he will run something like 2:17-2:20 based on his half marathon PR of 64:xx. He doesn’t much incentive to run himself into the ground trying to break 2:15. I do think he will finish.
It is refreshing to see the organizers rolling out the red carpet for an East African superstar like this after the IAAF’s horrible decisions this past week. Hopefully the runners and fans are entertained!
