You have to be pretty dense to think that she is injured cause of ASICS and that 4% shoes would change anything regarding injury

Never seemed to be injured until she started running in ASICS.
What happens now on 'the Brad and Allie show?
Looks like Brad is learning a lesson on eggs and baskets.

4%s have better cushioning so yeah it's actually reasonable.
I would love to know what her Asics contract says regarding guaranteed income, performance bonuses, standards, and reduction clauses (if there are any like Nike). Either way a definite income hit from lost appearance, possible endorsements, etc. Folks need to leave the weight comments off. Not everyone is a stick. She maybe a bit on the bigger side for a sub 2:30 marathoner, but she is nowhere near fat. Attractive woman IMHO.
Agreed, the weight comments need to be left off the thread. On another note, what is Brad going to do now in the meantime since he ditched all of his other athletes for her? When you ditch your athletes, especially many of them before their major marathons, that makes you look like a fool of a coach.

She was injured last spring too.
Allie is not hurt from Asics. She may not run as fast without the 4% but she is no more likely to be hurt in Asics.
She is hurt because Hudson is crazy with his mileage. I bet that she has a different Coach by the Trials build up.

Hudson had her do all-out hill sprints TWICE to "build strength and injury resistance". What he didn't consider that she is a pure ST (slow-twitch)-athlete, and gets KILLED by those sprints. He should have read Magness and learn the differences in training ST and FT athletes.
Welp, nailed the first half of that prediction.
This board has taught me soooooo much.
Ritz is hurt because he is too skinny. Same with Hasay.
Allie is hurt because she is too heavy.
Rupp and Hasay got injured because of the carbon plate in the 4%.
Allie got hurt from not wearing the 4%.
This board really knows their stuff.

I agree with all of this. And everything else!

I don't understand how you can declare all of 2019 as lost being that it's only the start of March.
Obviously it's a different sport but Rigoberto Uran just crashed his bike at Paris-Nice and broke his collarbone. So maybe he won't be ready for the Tour as planned, and maybe he'll race the Vuelta in September instead.
What happened to her that is so bad it can't be solved by 10 weeks of rest and then a multi-month buildup to a late Fall marathon? Must be pretty bad.
.
And yet the Stinsonator still keeps trucking along.
I don’t think a fall marathon is out of the question. Pretty sure this impacts up to London only.
This is too bad though. Was looking forward to seeing a result on a faster course from her. I guess time will tell how things go.
Agree with the above.
Her IG says her 2019 season is done. Could her injury be worse and she’ll actually need surgery like Ruppie? If that’s the case then yep 2019 is history.
Otherwise, rest and recover and focus on the fall season.
And Allie...screw NYC!!! Go run a fast course where you can lock in and go for a sub 2:24. That’s my advice.
