Was a wild finish at the end of the girls mile at New Balance Nationals!
Haven't seen much discussion about it.
Just wanted to hear some other people's opinion ... was it incidental contact, or something more?

Pics or it didn't happen.
The way I saw it, Parks impinged on Starliper's lane and clipped her unintentionally, and as Parks dove she edged Starliper who was trying to stay upright.
The boy's race was more controversial to me, with Payamps clearly cutting off Sprout at the bell, causing Sprout to almost go down and slip to third. Payamps faded to third and Renfree held off Sprout. In my view, Sprout should have won, but a DQ for Payamps would not have brought that.
The thing I couldn't figure out is Parks made up five M Gap and clearly look like she was going to Surge to the win
But right when she pulled even with starliper she veered into her Lane
Do you think she just lost control and it just was a coincidence that I was the exact moment she was next to starliper
Not an expert but I've never seen a runner Veer into someone else's Lane in the closing meters of a race
So you don't think there was anything illegal you think it was just incidental and obviously that's what the officials there I thought
It would have been a cool come-from behind win if she had just stayed in her Lane

I don't think the officials wanted to DQ the winner of the race. I agree that Parks would have passed her if no contact but it was interference.
That was definitely the most exciting race of the day.
I was sitting with a clear view of the straightaway and in the moment I felt Parks clearly veered into Starliper's lane. She didn't lose her balance, she just did it. And that won her the race IMHO. Do I think it was intentional? Kind of. But things get heated during kicks and people can lose a little body control, I suppose. But I think it was competitive juices getting the best of her, personally. If you listen to the race video closely, you can hear an official saying... "I don't know, I gotta see that again, it might be a foul." I would imagine they looked at the tape afterwards, but there was no way they were going to DQ the winner.

Here we go again. This site's obsession with schoolgirls and photos/videos of them is genuinely not just disturbing but probably worth investigation by the Authorities.
these girls have history

This literally happens all the time.

I wish I'd been there to catch her.
I thought the contact was pretty minor and as soon as the contact was made parks veered back into her lane. parks fell in her lane (lane 2) and Starliper, perhaps off balance from the contact went into lane 2 after the finish line and fell over Parks. There was no impeding or cutting off - I am not sure if anything more than their arms contacted each other.
Incidental contact for sure...
