Jesseriley, you are one very immature person. Frank Meza was the most audacious cheater in marathon history. He could almost certainly not break 7 minutes for a mile. Yet "we" debated and felt it necessary to "prove" he did not run sub 3 marathons. Who has the balls to repeatedly sneak in and out of these marathons to produce such fast times and high placements? Even keeping it up after being caught multiple times. One minute slower at the LAM and he would be running Long Beach next Sunday. Phillip Bland, one of the so-called "3 banditos", is running the half marathon, as am I. He is in my age division. I would love to be able to grill him about Frank Meza. (and the Pasadena half marathon that he and Francisco Meza and Sara Tartof ran but none showed up in the results) Of course I would want to tell him I'm sorry about what Frank did in the end. My gut feels that Phillip and some others knew or suspected what Frank had been doing for so long. AND what he might do if he was "caught". Phillip was at many of Franks races. At the United Airlines Rock N Roll Half-marathon last October Frank finished first in his age division with a 1:28. Second place went to Ed Drees with a 1:43. Ed, about Franks age and has just been running these races for a while. I actually felt a twinge of anger that Frank had "stolen" first place from my friend. Jesseriley, I truly hope you can come to realize that YOU were not EVER showing Frank Meza love. AND, Frank already knew the truth. We were just telling him that we knew the truth.
