It seems like 10 years ago, around the time that hipster guy made the ironic cover of "boyz in the hood" it became "funny" to mimic urban slang.
Now, it has changed from being ironic to simply widely used parlance, even by organizations representing our institutions of higher learning. Does anyone else find this disturbing ?
