Not breaking barriers, breaking rules.
Not breaking barriers, breaking rules.
The events that are going to crush the xx women are the throws. In running, men have a 10% advantage; in the throws, 27%.
A dude wouldn't have to train much to lay waste to the women's field events.

I certainly feel on a human level for these athletes who just honestly want to participate in a sport they love, but there just is no way these folks should be allowed to compete against women.
+1

I think a root cause of this is a deep ignorance about how strong biological sex disparities are in sport performance among the general non athlete population. Even a lot of male athletes don’t really understand what equivalent female performances are in their own sport. I’ve used the guess at what age a teenage boy could break all the world records in women’s track example and people who are somewhat well informs about sports (not running fans ) are shocked at that one. I think some men and women do this weird thing where they say hey this one woman I know can out (run/lift/climb/throw/serve/ kick) guys so they can’t see macro realities. Tl;dr peeps ignorant and can’t judge statistics versus anecdote.
This. I didn't realize until I was in my late teens/early twenties that a national class high school boy could beat any professional woman. It's truly shocking how much stronger/faster the male body is
Here is even a better perspective. At our little high school in the middle of nowhere, we had 6 guys run faster than the best high school girl in the entire country. If they could all claim to be female without doing any drugs or surgery, we would have too 6 ranked girls at one high school.

You're correct!
This crap isn't going away. The only rational response at this point is to drop ALL gender designated categories. Men, women, LGBTQBP, everyone competes against everyone else. Fair is fair, and men will win everything in sports.
Even with a couple hundred trannies doing women's sports, in general men's sports are so much more competitive and deeper that these women would be way further back if things were actually equally competitive.
Embraced by who?! Freaking ridiculous. The women should refuse to run against them. Problem solved.

There is no woman, who is a truly transitioned athlete, post-op, who is winning any serious sport competition.
So now you are demanding that trans-women drug themselves to meet "hormonal" standards?
Transitioning should be whatever the person feels it to be. For some, it is different than others.
Next we'll be having "libido reduction" drugs for homosexuals again?
So to be clear, you're OK with zuby breaking those women's weight lifting records then? He's clearly making a mockery of your "transitioning is whatever a person feels" statement. But. Who am I, or you, to judge?
So I'm asking, you're good with zuby completely owning those records?
I'm guessing a lot of this nonsense comes from guys who are reasonably good in their event but not winning regularly and just looking for attention/glory/whatever. I just plain don't understand what kind of dude would take any pride in "winning" against women.
You can't tell me that there's this many more truly gender confused people than there were 20 or 30 years ago.
Now, get off my lawn!

Thanks for unknowingly admitting that liberals are douche! You're as liberal as can be...And not even you can support this utter ridiculous leftist nonsense! That says it all!

It won't be true equality until transmen start dominating male sports too.
Getting rid of the gender "binary" would be another advance.
Better yet, lets stop our cis-human bigotry. There is no reason a horse should not be allowed to identify as a human and enter the next Cross Country Nationals. I for one would applaud the horse's bravery for breaking down barriers and species-normative stereotypes. It's time for the scourge of human supremacy to end. That would be true advancement.

beating a women is as good as beating anyone else. Or do you value women less? seems to be the case with you old men. All humans should start in one category and may the best human win
I was an assistant coach for girls and boys cross country time and can attest that males have a huge biological advantage over girls. A top girl runner on the team had to have talent and work very hard training to keep up some our boys that were our middle of road runners (not top 7 and not back of pack). For a girl to run 17-19 minutes, she training her heart out and has some degree of natural talent. A pretty decent boy can run those times without much effort.
It's not only testosterone, but muscle structure, ability to pump oxygen much faster due to muscle mass (less body fat). So many biological advantages.
Its really insane to let boys that identify as girls to complete against biological girls. Make another category or don't complete until you transition and have hormones leveled out.
This issue is so hard. There is no good answer. Trans women should have the right to be women. And that should be everywhere, including sport. It's so hard to say to a trans woman or girl that they are forbidden from competition--which is so ubiquitious in our society, or have to compete with the boys team because of how they are born. It's hard to make anyone feel ostracized and feel right about doing that.
On the other hand.
"Assigned female at birth" is not an arbitrary assignment. Cisgender women are at a disadvantage to those assigned male at birth. It is hard, as a cisgender woman myself not to feel very strongly about how unfair it is that transgender women are able to compete without any meaningful regulation.
But what regulation would that be? Sex assignment? Gender testing? HRT? I would want to say yes. but then is it really our business what an athlete--especially in the case of teenagers--are doing medically? That seems so invasive to want that information to be public.
So i have no answers at this point for what to do. All I know is that it seems so unfair, and that a lot of the opposition is met with "transphobic" and "bigoted" and that is silly at this point because this is a very different situation.
They don't have a right or even the possibility of being a women. Their chromosomes are not a women's chromosomes,
also bone structure, wiring of the brain, etc.. They might have a right to identify as women, but they are not women. That is science!
Zuby, explain to us the reaction since your video. We saw that [UFC color commentator and podcaster] Joe Rogan shouted you out on his show. How much do you agree with what he said that “anyone who thinks biological men don’t have any strength advantage over women is a fool” when referring to the clip?
What do you think the dangers of ignoring the fact that biological men are naturally stronger than women pose in sports and particularly combat sports?
I think you’re talking about MMA, which has already happened. The actual results have been fractured skulls, dislocated eye sockets, broken bones - and that’s what you would expect. There’s a reason why there’s that old phrase 'men shouldn’t hit women,' and it’s based on the fact that we are physically stronger. And it’s a massive difference, particularly in upper body strength. It’s not like a minor difference. I mean, a fully trained man - an average man - could be multiple times stronger than a female. If you took an average woman off the street I’m probably quite literally four or five times as strong as her.
It’s not a small difference. So there’s a huge physical danger there in terms of broken bones, concussions, bruising, potential death. It’s the same reason why you don’t have heavyweight boxers versus featherweight boxers, because you’re going to put them at risk of death or brain damage or something like that. It’s not right. This isn’t something that should be considered political or considered being on one side or the other, this is just based in basic safety and fairness.
You’re saying that biological men should categorically not be allowed to compete in women's sports alongside biological women?
That is my personal position, yes. If you are talking about children’s sports, before people have gone through puberty then you could say, ‘yeah maybe boys and girls could maybe play football together or something like that,’ and generally you’re not going to have a massive issue. But if you’re talking about a professional adult level, you’re taking the best of the best in any given sport - maybe with the exception of I think long-distance swimming or perhaps synchronized swimming - then the men will completely dominate every time. And that’s not a sexist statement. Any woman who is being honest would agree with that. It’s not going to be a competition and if it’s a competition there will not be any women in professional sports any more, you’d completely wipe them out, taken to its logical conclusion.
What was your intention with the clip identifying as female to break the British women's deadlift record? Was it just to ruffle some feathers, or did you intend to get these points across?
Do you plan to break any more records?
[Laughs] Well they weren’t official records. This was obviously in a training session rather than in a sanctioned meet. But yeah I did the deadlift one and the bench press one as well. In fact with the bench press one I put up a video of me lifting it for multiple reps. The deadlift one I could do for probably five or six reps with that weight as well. But the video I put up was of me just doing a single rep. But I think you can tell by watching the video that it wasn't exerting maximum effort.

Beating women by having male levels of testosterone isn't really breaking barriers. East Germans were doing that 40 years ago!
