I don't have a gripe with banks/capitalism or whatever. Banks serve a fundamental purpose and demand and like any institution, sometimes abuse their power.
But something about these "Capital One" cafes popping up is really creepy. They feel deceptive - like they're trying to hide the fact that they're trying to sell you something. Just be upfront about what you're trying to do, banks. Most people would respect that more.
I also don't like the trend of megacorpsintegrating leisure/free-time activities (like going to a cafe/coffee shop) with business and marketing.
