they should've invited a guy like Brandon Kidder(pacemaker for cheserek"s 3:49) to pace kejelcha. He's one of the best pacers in the world

That pacer was awful. Couldn't even get to 800 on pace... I think they gotta use Clayton or Donovan on the next attempt.
That was exciting
Actually, Kejelcha was slightly ahead of the expected pace at 800 meters...though the pacer had drifted off by then as atomic was running up his heels.
If Kejelcha had sprinted through the line he’d have had it. Watching on tv one could see that he eased up slightly approaching the finish.
The pcer went through 800 evenly in 1:53.2 which was patently Al Sals goal.

She got that so skinny it hurts to look at look.
Huh?
Anyone know why Tuohy didn't start the mile?

The pacer has peeled off before 800 meters as he was getting run up on my Kejelcha. Thus, at least on tv, they showed Kejelcha went through 800 in 1:52.8, so faster than Alberto prescribed.

I think four different posters on this thread have said she is reportedly sick.
that's completely ignoring the splits... they went out crawling almost 30 for the first 200, then sprinted a 26??? cmon
Rob Napolitano socks.
Flat out socks.
Worst pacing effort I’ve ever seen.
Give back the money jackals.

I heard she forgot to declare
Anyone know if there's a replay of the meet or race videos? Not finding anything on Google or Youtube.

It is unpleasant to look at someone who is that emaciated.
Further, Lewis Johnson could have paced the race better even with his nbc blazer and the fact that he thought he was at the Garden....
Napolitano socks.

More than likely most of the races will be on YouTube somewhere.
Found some on USATF.TV
Kemoy Campbell situation is scary given the story of the athlete who died after an indoor mile race due to a condition connected to his Jamaican genetics ?

the first 209. that's 28.5 pace for 200m
and you start from a standstill and the reaction time to the gun is part of that first split as well, so being perfectly on pace for the first 200 is actually putting in extra effort
the 26.4 was undoubtedly a mistake though
Seriously? Stop it folks! Same jealous people cutting on more successful runners. Look at Hassen she is very thin but doesn't look sick neither does woman. You're not saying anything about Kejelcha.
