He's with BTC now. My understanding is they're not too big on the whole "racing" thing

It's going to take some getting used to for him with a completely new and different training style compared to what he's done for the last 10 years. Be patient.
He hasn’t been in many BTC Instagram posts of them working out. A few shots of him jogging on trails with the guys. I wonder if he’s been hurt like Jager and Mo Ahmed. I believe Lomong is also coming off injury. They’re lucky that worlds is late this year.
I listened to a podcast with Shalane a week or two ago and she mentioned he was "a little bit injured right now"
What podcast?
I think Centrowitzs shortest time ever records of 3:30.40 and 3:51.79 for tenth place finishers in 1500m and mile are special.
i'll have another with lindsay hein
interesting listen.. she talks about coaching and her hopes for motherhood (she and her husband are in the process of adopting)
Worlds is in October so the BTC members who are hoping to medal(Centro and Jaeger) are probably starting the season later to avoid having too long a season.

Exactly. Many pros are hoping to extend their indoor seasons as long as possible because of the very long season into October. There is even talk of an all NOP dmr post Nats relay....
?
Engels 1200, Brazier 400, Murphy 800, Kejelcha 1600?
That would be an awesome relay.
Like Father, Like Suck
He has been injured. He was out in Phoenix seeing Jon Ball last month
The new BTC singlet gives him a rash, so no racing.

How are the styles different? Training is a combination of aerobic and anaerobic running whether you're with NOP or BTC.
Why would any adjustment be needed?
He’s too busy practicing his post-race camera mugging in front of a mirror... outdoor meets are coming up and he’s working on some new moves.

I hear this year he's going with the "call the Fire Department, the field got burned" finish.
The man is an OLYMPIC CHAMPION. He has world championship medals. What else does he need to do at this stage in his career? He isn't fast enough to get a world record. Time to run for fun and cash checks.
