Most promising athlete in NCAA track right now.
Def most promising collegiate short hurdler since Nehemiah, and he’s probably better than Nehemiah. Let’s hope he keeps doing his thing, because he will be very exciting to watch over the next few years.
At some point in his career, he should fart around with the pole vault and throws and give the decathlon a try.
He should fart around with a football and play wide receiver.

And 6.53 in the heats for the 60 flat, followed by teammate Hakim Sani Brown

uhhhh, and you assume he has any strength?? Has he demonstrated anything in throws?
I didn't think his 60m was THAT impressive as he had to play catch up after a pretty slow start.
His 60m hurdles though...wow...that was just total domination. It was over about 3m into the race.

Just doing his best Bolt imitation.
Now that I think about it, Bolt never did a 60, or ran indoors at all.

Since Jamaica wasnt doing it's out of season testing during his era, the rumour was that he didnt do indoors so he could have an extended period of no testing to train. Then he would start the year in april bulky and tight and slow from lots of crazy drug facilitated training, but rapidly gain speed as he capitalized on all that base work.
Obviously I have no idea of the truth of the matter other than he didnt get tested for years during the off season.

He always claimed the reason he didnt do indoors was because of his height, claimed it wasnt his forte. Since his wr in the 100 would have been a wr for the first 60m if it was indoors, I'm skeptical

He played in high school. I think at one point, he tossed around playing at Florida in addition to track but decided to completely focus on track.
Is the various training helping his overall progress or fo you think if he focused solely on the 60m/60h indoors and 110hurdles outdoors he could be even faster?

Having the LJ to worry about in the middle of a busy prelim program can't help his times in the sprints, but he's out there trying to carry his team to another title.
Once he goes pro, he'll drop the LJ and focus solely on the hurdles. That's when we'll see his full potential realized.

No you have no idea about that either. Whether Jamaica has off season testing or not makes no difference, IAAF and WADA have their own testers who randomly target high profile professional athletes like Bolt and Farah. You have 0 proof that Bolt was tested any less than any other professional athlete.

IAAF has no testers so you are wrong right out of the gate, much less having any proof whatsoever of his out-of-comp testing during those years.
Would love to see him take a crack at the 400 hurdles. His 4x4 splits are bananas, so he obviously has the strength.
Usain has scoliosis from what I hear so he’s not able to have a long season, therefore that could be one reason he skips the indoor season all together, but it’s def not bc he’s dopped. To high profile
