so does that mean this was technically not an OTQ ?
the pace/time seems to have been aimed at that though
anyone born there is an American citizen but I guess it's some kind of dual citizenship in that they have their own Olympic representation, interesting

I think you can get into the olympics with the B standard if nobody else in the country has an A standard. I think the B standard is now 2:19

I don't feel that anyone just because of his fathers ego and profound jealousy of his own brother that represented U.S. V. I. in 2 Olympics, born and raised there, would want to take away the dream of many Virgin Islanders their dream of participating in the Olympics because someone born in Florida wants to represent U.S.V.I to make his father happy.
