I have a 50k coming up in early March. The format is run a 5K ever hour for 10 hours and the best combined time wins. I’ve never done a race like this (I am used to 5k, 10k, 10 milers or half marathons) so I think my current strategy is to look at the winning time of last year and divide that by 10 and try to keep that pace. Hopefully that is good enough.
What are some specific workouts you would recommend?
Thanks!
