you didn't show in the results today for Houston but hey man....i would be lying if I said I didn't cry when I watched the replay of the 1999 footlocker XC finals and saw the emotion you put on that course. we love you man, so while many LRC posters might be hateful, just know that your legendary, Tom Brady-like, hall of fame XC career is far from over. houston is a good learning experience for the 2020 olympic trials. we love you Ritz, goodluck and thanks for the memories and more to come

I very much doubt that his running career is “far from over”, and that’s ok. He can keep going as long as seems right to him. He shouldn’t and won’t keep chugging along just to pander to fans’ nostalgia, and he certainly doesn’t need anonymous people on letsrun to “inspire” him.
