I hate to break it to you, but I believe Independence, MO is "Meth Town USA".

beach running always sucks for me....mountain running always great....must be the sand, heat it sucks/
NJ has the best heroin in the country
NJ has the most crack addicts in the country
NJ has the most expensive car insurance
NJ has the highest rents
NJ has the highest property taxes
NJ has the most people per square mile
NJ people are RUDE, Arrogant, and Ignorant
NJ has some of the dirtiest air in the country
NJ is the only state that charges you to go on the beach
those of you who know that this state sucks should leave'
then they should seal the borders and keep the rest of you asshole from ruining the rest of the country!
bottom line: NJ is a shithole!
You can't even pump your own gas!

thats a good thing! Full Service for the price of of self service. And yes, check it, NJ gas prices are right in line with the national average!
the reason they don\'t let the jersey monkeys pump their own gas is because they are so stupid, they would blow themselves up.
nice situation with the government - fire 1/3 of the state employees and let the other lazy pigs actually work for a living.
each town should also fire 1/3 of their workers and make the remaining idiots work harder.
lazy pigs, try moving to the midwest or west and sitting on your fat, loud mouth asses and you'll be out of a job so fast, your head will spin.
for all your bravado about being so tough, your are in reality a bunch of whiney loud mouthed pussies - a dog with lots of bark but not much bit

Maybe 1/3 of the teachers should head toward your state and teach some spelling
Three words: William. Carlos. Williams.
So there.
I agree with Meters. If you want to make money and be famous N.J. is the place (lots of Hootspa there as we say). If you want great runs and want to be poor white trash move to Oregon. But Meters Michelle Pfeiffer is from Orange County Ca. (Miss O.C. 1978).
New Jersey Law enforcement is corrupt and every cop there needs to get their teeth punched in and head cracked open and set a fire and beaten with a hammer. I love for nothing more than to bust a "cap" in their asses. And wtf is up with the mullet and shaved sides with Top-Gun style crew cut. God damn drones! Definitely, New jersey is shite! RUnning on the boardwalk with deep inhalation of toxic New GERSEY ASS GAS!
I definitaly agree that NJ represents the BEST AND WORSE. I live in a beatiful upscale neighborhood in the southern part of NJ near Philadelphia. NJ is in general, a very expensive place to live. We have the highest car insurance rate in the country. Our annual real estate taxes are between 8 and 15K/ year and you can not TOUCH a home under 250K MIN. For a small place. You can not build a home under 400K minimun as they are just not building them any cheeper. Developments are averaging 600K and up around here to build.
There is a small part of my town that is registered historic with beautiful old homes, and upscale antiqe shopes. Yes, there are disgusting parts: Newark and Camden to name a few. HOWEVER, their are disgusting parts of EVERY state I am sure with the exception of places like Iowa or Idaho in which their is well, NOTHING.
Education: NJ actually is one of the leading states in education. NJ has been ranked in the top 10 for education in regards to national tests, number of kids attending college after high school, etc, for many years.
My public school ranked in the top 10 of NJ and the average SAT score was well above the national average.
The accents can be thick depending on which part of NJ you live, but that is because of the New York / Philadelphia influence.
I live in a town with only 3% minority population but NJ IS a melting pot. You just get used to it and most learn to enjoy the diversity.
What you say is true, NJ schools are well regarded and the diversity can be a good thing. But why is this state such a pain in the ass to live in?
I live in an area where the taxes will eat you up, municipal service are horrible and the average house is over $900k. The jug handle left turn thing is a royal pain, and the gas station thing is a joke. It seems like anything you do in NJ is a major effort from grocery shopping to getting your house fixed to going out for dinner.
From a recreation standpint, your park system is weak and I don\'t enjoy running or riding my bike on the roads because it seems like people behind the wheel of their cars want to play a game of chicken with you - kind of cowardly having me on foot having to square off with a car. As a side note, the people up here are really into this power play stuff but only when they have a decisive advantatge or when they can run away in the cars quckly - ok - end of my brief venting.
In general, people in NJ seem like they are miserable and in many cases, downright nasty. I keep asking myself, it if is so great, why are the people so unhappy. Life here just seems like a major pain in the ass.
If you call the bricks a dumb, ass hole. Spell dump right if your going to talk shit.... I feel like a lot of you people are talking shit about NJ cause you are not tough enough to walk by yourself in downtown Newark...
This thread is a joke.New Jersey, considering its size,is among the most diverse states in the union.Beaches, mountains,Pine Barrens, great outdoor recreational opportunities if you get off your butt and look.
Poor park systems???Where I live i am 15 minutes away from many county parks(including Holmdel),a great state park in which to run(Allaire), and a National Park that is a good safe place to cycle(Sandy Hook)
While New Jersey does have its share of blighted areas, most notably Camdem, it consistantly ranks in the top three in per capita income.
New Jersey has so many assets I could go on writing for hours but I have to get back to work. But, before you bash New Jersey, get off the Turnpike(which I,too, despise) and spend a week at the Jersey Shore.
I live in NJ. NJ is great its just the people that suck. The people in general are mean and angry its really sad. I work in Bergen County and they are some arrogant SOB here. I work in a building with Smith @ Barney employees and most of them here are rude etc. Even my drive to work is like being in NASCAR every day with people yelling and cursing etc.
That's just North Jersey people that are mean. {eople in the shore area are kind and good natured.Vinnie from Bayonne is loud and obnoxious, almost as bad as Vito and Anthony from Staten Island
NJ people are retards. It's not "New Joisey" you fricken morons. NJ is a piece of s&%# state.
Or atleast the people. Most New Jersey people are dumb, illiterate, pieces of s#@%. If you think otherwise, you probably are a dumba%& New Jersey person.
If New Jersey people get good SAT scores, it's probably from having other retarded Jersiars grading it.
If New Jersey is so great then why do all the people leave and come here?
If you love your state then stay there and don't come pollute mine!
