After the fall that the Tinmen had, great race by Fischer in his second half. And good to see Tiernan take the roads well.
And hey, credit where credit is due to Walmsley. I don’t know much about him but good for him to step out of his comfort zone and make that first step.
yes, great race for the ultra guy. Probably he was in the very top of the American finishers, after Fischer and maybe another one or two guys.
Try 12 Americans ahead of him. But he hit his goal and should be happy.

I’m honestly sick of hearing about how bad coverage is during races.
I hope it improves, so you will get well soon!

Learn Japanese, I don't speak it or understand it. But in Japan from what I understand, the coverage of races are that of what we get during a NFL game.

I see this is still up and the western hemisphere claim is still in the LetsRun review of the race. In case they try to double down and claim it is the fastest time by a runner in a country ENTIRELY in the western hemisphere I should point out that
A) Susan Chepkemei ran 65:44 in Lisbon in 2001 and Portugal is entirely in the western Hemisphere. However, the course has a net downhill beyond the IAAF limit.
B) The USA is not entirely in the western hemisphere. The Rat Islands and Near Islands, part of Alaska, are between 172 deg E and 180 deg.
Anyone notice Puskedra buried back in 67'?
RIP
+1 to the Tyler Jermann props
Still hope for there to be 2 Naperville natives on the 2020 team (along with Derrick).
What about Jerrell Mock with a 62:15 in what I believe is his half debut. Solid young runner
How is a guy running a fast time not good for the sport? Makes no sense.
At least I learned something from listening to the announcers mentioning that Kipchoge gets an appearance fee of $300k+ in London where Boston doesn't pay that much (Didn't say how much)
But if you look at the winner prize money,
Boston pays the winner $150,000 while London winners only get $55,000.
He could get almost $100k more winning Boston than London, but his appearance fee more than makes up for that.
No wonder he doesn't run more of the top prize marathons
(Dubai - $200k, Boston - $150k, Tokyo - $108k, New York/Chicago - $100k)
But also winning the marathon majors add another bonus of $250k if you win.

Ngandu goes home devastated. Only a 9th place finish. Now that his domination of d2 has ended he’s just running some local hobby jogger meets and cleaning up. But failed to do so again today.
He ran 1:01... yeah really struggling ?? sound like someone who always got beaten by him. Salty salty salty
Just as much evidence of global cooling as warming. What a hoax. Thank God Almighty for the cooling- benefits runners of all ages and backgrounds. God bless America
Yeah that's fast. Never heard of the guy (though haven't paid that close attention), what's he run before?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
