Track practice starts 5 Weeks from Friday. I'm on pace for about 40 miles this week after about 20 mpw for the winter and 30 last week. I've done a few light workouts but mainly just running easy at 7-7:45 pace. What approach should I take from here into track? Current plan is to run 40 miles this week, 45 next week, and then hold 50 through the beginning of track. What workouts should I do between now and then? Running is currently mostly outdoors in snow with the occasional treadmill run. I'm about 10 pounds heavier than I probably should be for racing. PRs are 59, 2:12, 4:52, 10:44 and 16:15
