One of my favourites.
https://youtu.be/lpzVc7s-_e8Gillette makes razors for everyone. What is their tag line for all the others?

This both sides to everything mindset needs to stop. OP — who are the many people upset by this? The ad calls for men not to bully, not to catcall, and not to harass women. Whoever that offends needs to reevaluate why that hurts their fragile male feelings. Maybe they’re the problem.
I think a bigger concern is why Gillette is all of a sudden acting as a moral compass. This feels like the Nike & the Colin K partnership. They’re mission is to make the most money possible. Left leaning folks + younger folks buy razors too. They’re putting this ad out to make money. That doesn’t make it bad, but if I had to guess I would guess that high ups at Gillette donate to right wing groups/politicians. Nike poured tons of money into the republican running for governor of Oregon right after those Colin K ads ran. It’s about their bottom lines.
Moral: just be nice to people, hold each other accountable, don’t harass women. Nobody should be offended by that. Don’t let people make it out to there being multiple sides to showing basic human decency.
I agree with everything you said. I was mainly trolling the neanderthals in this forum who would actually be offended by calls for common decency.
It’s preachy and pedantic. I don’t care for it. Gives me a reason to think about considering a different brand. Think I will start buying that different brand.

I’ve had some of my army friends complain about their favoritism towards the Air Force. *grunt*.
The line in the ad, "some is not enough..." implies that the problem lies with "most" men. How is that a call for common decency? It's stereotyping. "Kettle, you're black."

It's a disgusting ad and there's far more reason to boycott Gillette over this than there is to boycott Nike over their SJW ad (and that was sickening enough).
Imagine if a leading tampax manufacturer made an ad portraying all women as *****? They would go out of business overnight. However, for all the talk of a boycott, we know that Gillette probably planned this and anticipated the headlines they have gotten. The number of men who will actually end up boycotting them will be far smaller than the new custom attracted by the free publicity.
Whose life is so miserable that they get upset about an ad?

Not sure why you are getting you knickers twisted over this. Message is have a bit of respect for women and each other, not sure many would disagree. I have to say the boys play fighting at the bbq is too much though, that is just boys being boys.
Condescending, patronizing, virtue signaling, insulting to everyone's intelligence, cringeworthy, and won't do anything to reduce bullying. No wonder it has 75% downvotes on YouTube.
LOL Gillette! Did they forget they own a stadium where men get paid to beat each other up and women are dressed up in mini skirts on the sidelines for men to look at?

Huh? I didn't post the original post. I just commented.

Would you be happy if a similar advert with the same message targeted only black men? Given that all their complaints (such as violence and rape) are apparently much more of a problem in the black community according to the makeup of the prison population? You probably think I'm being racist just to ask you the question, yet you don't have any problem with demonizing one half of the planet? Why is it wrong to demonize men, but not wrong to demonize black men, or Arabic men etc? Isn't it equally prejudiced?
Btw, men do respect women, that's why women aren't sent off to war and why breast cancer gets far more funding than prostate cancer, why women increasingly dominate universities and that's seen as a good thing, why female circumcision is seen as a repugnant evil and male circumcision a religious cultural practice etc etc etc.
And why accuse me of 'getting my knickers in a twist'. Are you accusing me of acting like a 'woman'? Why would that be bad if you supposedly 'respect' women? And maybe I identify as a woman? Triggered!
