You are too high if you are talking push ups using correct form. My best during the PFT when I was in the Army was 85. I was in very good all around shape and specifically trained to be able to Max (100 points) the push up part of the PFT and not a lot of people in my Battalion were better. (The 2 Mile run and sit up parts came easier.)
These appear to be the current standards:

My numbers were just based on me. Some of the xc kids I coach were BSing each other about pushups and they didnt believe any of the others could build up to 100 straight. It made me curious, so later I tested myself and I could do 45. Since I hadn't dont any pushups/bench, etc in over a year, I guess this is about my baseline.
So I decided to do pushups to failure once a day, which is a terrible training plan, but simple and easy to stick with. I hit 100 straight after 12 days. I then stopped.
So I based my numbers for OPs somewhat arbitrary question on that. Since I got to 100 so easily, I find it hard to consider 100 to be "fit." I picked a random slightly higher number as "fit" and a random slightly lower number as "respectable."
Btw, the world record is over 1000, but I think that allows resting in the "up" position during the attempt.
