Any updates on his training and/or future racing plans at this point?
I feel like another year of London and Berlin would be anticlimactic after last year (unless, of course, he can further lower his WR).
Where's this guy go from here???

Tokyo 2020.
He's going to enter boston on his own and surprise everybody by showing up in the first non-elite corral and still winning.
As a runner maybe you should appreciate that not every race can be some amazing spectacle where you break PR's? Or in this case world records even.
Maybe some time within the next 5 years he'll go sub-2:01 but I don't understand what more you could expect

I’m pretty sure at one point he stated he was aiming for a second gold in tokyo. Otherwise he can do whatever he wants, he’s already the greatest marathon runner if he retires right now anyway.
He should take down the HM record. Kam/Berega/Unknown at Dubai are going to take his record at some point, so why not diversify somewhat?
The hour record?
The 30K record just because?

I think Kipchoge already has the 30K record en route to his marathon WR.
I would like it if he became a road whore and did a road 10k/ half marathon every other month. Go get the world record for the 10k, half marathon and the 50k record.
Also, after the 2020 Olympics he should go do commrades marathon and go attempt a 100k world record.
Agreed. He could go full-BR mode and race every weekend, clean up on every US road race he runs, use them for hard efforts, and still win at Tokyo because he's Kipchoge.
Then do what you said, ultra stuff.

Whatever pays the best.
My suggestion is this wrote:

This. He could definitely get the HM WR. I’d love to see him have it over Kiptum. No offense to Kiptum, but it’d be cooler if Kipchoge had it. I’m less sure if he could get the 10K, but maybe.
I heard he is running the "Frozen 5K" in Wichita, KS this Saturday. Already sent in his entry form and $25 entry fee.
Said something about needing another medal and t-shirt.
