Back over $4000 USD.
Not to mention that LiteCoin, etc. have been up +7% or more two or 3x times recently.
Hope you were in the market at the right time.
the vast majority of bitcoin trading volume is an illusion - likely faked by the exchanges themselves using cunning trading algorithms to give customers the false impression of a deep, liquid market.
Of the roughly $6 billion in reported daily volume during four days in March, the firm calculated that about $273 million was legitimate. 71 of the 81 exchanges it examined harbored activity that appeared fraudulent.
All this negativity. Yet you'd be up 3x if you bought BTC at 3500 USD...
Dip below 10000 USD for BTC, but now back on track and moving up.
Well, BTC almost reached 11000 USD, but then pulled back to 9700 USD currently.
Your advice now?
1 Bitcoin $9,702.82 -9.69%
2 Ethereum $200.74 -13.47%

Earlier this year, Ben Munster of Decrypt.co documented how the creation of $600 million in tether corresponded with a jump in the price of bitcoin from $8,500 to $11,000.

Unfortunately we have to play with different toolchains across multiple blochains and sometimes issues happen. We're working anyway to prevent this from happening in the future.
Tether is one of the most iffy ones out there. No-one has done a proper audit. Even banks find it toxic.
https://www.coindesk.com/metropolitan-bank-shut-down-tethers-account-after-5-monthsThe NYAG is investigating Bitfinex’s alleged cover-up of an $850 million loss by borrowing potentially up to $900 million from Tether’s reserves. The reserve is theoretically in place to back the USDT stablecoin, which Tether previously claimed was backed 1 to 1 by U.S. dollars.
