ok so me and other students from track all had a workout where we did a ton of hang-cleans then the day after we all ran 1000m repeats but for some reason i was beat by a lot of the kids i usually run faster then.
i was limping around from the hang cleans especially since i went and ran a extra 5 miles afterwards?
i was curious as to whether i actually got slower than these other kids or if the soreness affected my endurance while running.
after the workout i was back to limping around again because i have incredible pains on my thigh. while i ran these 1000m repeats i don’t think i felt sore because i was running, however i ran slower times than usual. was it due to soreness, or am i getting worse at track?
