They're all pretty liberal to be prepared for that. Pretty unlikely that you'll be able to find meat to eat in those towns to be prepared for a forced vegan diet.
It's been scientifically proven that Veganism is a mental disorder and a leading cause of death in liberal communities, so be prepared for that.
My advice? In my opinion you should move to a good, southern, Christian, Conservative town like Charleston or Savannah, so be prepared for that.
Boulder wins 10/10. Easy access to Denver and ski areas in the Rockies. Great college town. Easy access to 8000 ft for training.
Bend is too low. It is a bit of a haul to Portland. Skiing at Mt. Bachelor is a challenge. Good sunny days with little wind are rare. Too often skiing is spoiled by drizzle/rain or high winds.
Flagstaff is a nice college town, but is also a bit far from the big city. You can ski in the winter, but no comparison to CO. Altitude is ideal, but there is actually such a thing as too much sun.
