10x800m is a good workout, but definitely not the best to predict your 10k.
Maybe you could to run 3 by 2 miles (2 weeks before race) with 3 min recovery, that's pretty tough, but that's better.
Or some long repetitions, maybe 2x (3k+2k) or something like that. In other words, if you threshold pace is 6 min/mile, so that will be hard to get a fast 10 k.
hard to tell with these threads without PRs or other workouts. it's a good workout. not a 5k workout but not a true 10k predictor. I would assume you're sub-16 for 5k so I would guess, at minimum, that you can go 34-flat-ish. Anywhere from 33:30-34:30 but, depending on your background, other workouts, how easy it was, I can see a runner doing this workout getting down to 32:59.
