Hi guys I'm a 17 year old 5K runner and my PB is 18:30 give or take a few seconds of mainly 40 miles a week. Can I get sub 18 and then sub 17 of this mileage if I keep a tempo run, speed work and a long run throughout the week. Could people give me some advice on what mileage I need? Also I ran a 28 minute 5K in january 2018 when I was quite overweight and improved over the year by losing weight and running around 30 miles per week on inconsistently.
