Well let's take a look at Khadevis Robinson at OSU. One of the best distance running states but they run nobody over 800m at conference? May have been a great runner, not so good coach

They won the conference meet and the head coach was the Big Ten Coach of the year. You are an idiot.
He coaches XC where they were second to last at conference barely beating out Rutgers.
He works for Dennis. They won the track title. She puts no scholarships in distance. He got a bonus for being part of a championship squad and you are calling him a bad coach. The AD couldn’t be happier.
everyone in the buckeye state knows he's a joke of a xc coach, rumor has it he once asked an athlete how long an 8k was, pathetic. maybe he should spend less time posting "motivational quotes" on his social media and more time learning how to coach. it is almost funny but you gotta feel bad for the cross country team. not sure there's any logic to hiring a narcissistic 800m runner to coach cross country, sure doesn't seem to be working out for him but if dennis doesn't care about xc then I guess it makes sense.

Are you some disgruntled former runner of his that is still butt hurt you never got to travel to meets? Boo hoo... ?
I don’t believe Khadevis ever claimed to be a great Cross country coach. But as a D1 track coach he’s pretty solid, I’m sure if you put your great trolling skills to use googling past results of his athletes at OSU and LSU, you will see he’s done a lot more than most D1 coaches have. I will agree the social media thing is a little overkill
Not butt hurt, was never on the team, im too slow, I just know a couple guys. Not sure what "a lot more than most" means but I'm guessing plenty of d1 coaches could be doing better with the kind of middistance talent he has on the team, but he'd probably have to do more than just talk about his "system"...............
Why has the University of Hartford continued on this path? Stacy Wentz is a useless coach. She will not take this program to the next level, but a need by UHART to put a woman in place after too many male failures.

Mike Mcguire has consistenly been one of the best NCAA women's distance coaches for the last 25 years. They won Big Tens and got 4th at XC NCAA last year. You must be some coach jealous coach who gets beat by Michigan frequently.
Except Erin Finn literally could have died:

Okay, now all you IDIOTS who say it doesn't matter to flop on the track after a run DOESN'T MATTER please
convince me. IDIOTS.
FROM NOW ON WHEN A RACE ENDS DO NOT ALLOW ATHLETES TO FLOP ONTO THE TRACK YOU IDIOTS!!!!!

I don’t care that she’s a woman, she’s just a nightmare as a person. Psychotic and clueless is a bad combination.
I personally don't care that she is a woman either, my point was that I doubt any male was considered when she was hired. Glad to see I am not alone in my observations.
Seriously? This is still going on? Why wasnt this fixed after Steve Walsh and his staff?
What about Loyola? they never had a guy qualify for xc nats besides the surprise guy that took 3 at west xc last fall. that coach has been there forever....
Are you referencing anyone?
Jermaine Jones - Purdue
Sandy Fowler- Costal
Lonnie Pugh- MSU
Julie Taylor- WSU
Shawn Cobey- Clemson
Dubs-VTech
Tom Wood- NCst
Carrie Lane-Wyoming
Pat Ebel- Auburn
Crater- Arizona
Whitstitt- Oregon
All are or to be far to some have become sub or for their positions.
Bill Taylor of Lipscomb.
Back to back workouts every week on Tuesday and Wednesday. Plus hard workout Saturday as well. Men were being coached under Reed for past last 2-3 years and started to improve and get really good until Coach Reed quit cause he couldn’t handle being under Bill anymore. Bill took over and in one year took a team that won conference and finished 6th at regionals to 3rd at conference and 14th at regionals
Nuff said. Something needs to be done. These runners don’t deserve it
Tom Lester. This guy is so bad he doesnt even get a chance at D 1 coaching. Hes been relagated to D2 and juco. His resume in those 2 divisions is pathetic. Thank goodnees no one has contacted him ever about coaching D1.. Sorry Coach Lester your just not D1 coaching worthy!!
90 percent of head coaches do not belong in their positions. I am constantly amazed as to how they get hired. There are so many coaches who have been top competitors themselves, Olympics, college, high school, etc. Having BEEN coached does not make you a coach. Coaching is continual knowledge and intuition. It is instinct! It is caring about the progression of your athletes not just about your ego. It is about learning what your athlete needs to progress and so many time this goes beyond what the coach thinks they know. The question is, how many coaches go above and beyond to do this? Yes, they need to keep their jobs, but how many athletes fall through the cracks because their coach does NOT COACH? How many coaches at the college level actually attend conferences to learn new things? By this I mean, showing up is one thing , actually going to the lectures is another? How many are willing to pull and injured athlete for the season so they can get healthy despite how many points they may loose in a conference championship? So who do you think ARE the good ones??

Their old coach was a woman also. Now at ECSU (DIII) and has had no significant results.

How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
