That workout is old news, we know now a better way to do workouts. Try something like this instead: 6 x 1k w/ 90 sec rest + 5 x 200m
This workout is fine but only do 12 x 400......do them at 5 k pace once a week and hopefully the times will drop but don't rush it.....run as you feel . It is not a race but a rewarding workout that will always let you know where you stand condition- wise.
