NYRR 4 miler at 12am. Got it out of the way early. Will prob do another in the afternoon after some sleep.
3.8 miles easy
A hungover 8 miler.
7x1k @ CV w/ 200m jog
6x~200m hills
6x100m striders w/ 200m jog
Got out at 6am while the weather was still nice. Didn’t stay up for New Years. Don’t @ me.
4 miles (6:23-pace).
9 mile run. Started at 7 min pace worked down to 6:15 pace by the last mile.
6.5 miles easy with 6 hill sprints
2 x 12 min tempo (6:40 pace) with 4 min rest
1.5 miles each warmup/warm down

Can I ask why you chose to go with a Sage plan? What do you think of it so far?

The Central Arkansas classic, Pinnacle west side trail. Crowded but fun.
The run was ordinary: 7 miles easy.
The weather was extraordinary: 52 degrees in Connecticut.
6.5 miles for 750 feet of elevation gain.
Went to bed early last night too, skipped the festivities entirely.
2EZ, 2mi Tempo, 3-4 1K @ CV effort w/ 1-2 minute jog rest between.
An easy 5 miler

One mile walk with 3 x 150 jogs enroute.

So today was a 5000 tempo at 85percent of MHR : 21:26 pretty much even splits with no kick I will take it ! Hit 18 flat with 800 to go and felt like I could have finished under 21 but it was like so what ya know so what.

Took a few months off Aug and Sept .
Building a base started in Oct at about 20 minutes per day . Built up to 40 minutes per day. Average effort of 60 percent of MHR.
