Why aren’t we building a wall along the northern border as well? Not enough brown folk pouring in?

We have a diversity visa lottery already in the USA that brings in millions and you think it is due to racism. The immigration act of 1969 all but insures plenty of non-white people get here.
But since you are so smart, why don't you tell me how many illegals cross the border (not at the border crossings) from Canada every year Mr. Straw man.
Man I’m just trying to trigger people.
I think improved fencing or “wall”is an important part of comprehensive immigration plan. The problem is that it’s become too political to do it piece by piece so it has to be lumped into a larger proposal so each side of the purple swath gets say “looking what I did yay!”
1. Improved barriers (fence, wall, whatever) acting as a means to direct foot traffic to official border crossings. You can’t have barriers on private land. You shouldn’t have barriers where natural barriers lie. Trump’s problem is making this an us vs the issue, an all or nothing issue, lieing about Mexico paying for it, and portraying immigrants as dirty disease ridden rapists and human traffickers.
2. Increased number of border crossings or outposts emplaced even where roads do not exist. Let’s say one every 20mi.
3. Increased number of agents and technology (drones?).
4. One of the more important aspects...increased ability to process immigrants. Increase H2 visa program.
5.Naturalization process for those already here.
6. Put them to work....AT THE BORDER, Bag em and tag em. Process and issue temp photo IDs. Most simply wanna work. Put them to work at the border fixing fences, cleaning up, painting, good old area beautification, until they can find a better job. Wages can be low, under minimum wage.
7. Communal living facilities at the border.
Our current Immigration problem is both political and logistics. Stop stoking the flames of a humanitarian crisis.
