Highlights of Part II of my talk with Floyd Landis are now up below. You can also listen as a full podcast if you want.
I'm curious about what you all think about this one part about Donald Trump.
Floyd and I were discussing why Floyd cares what people think about him. And Floyd then pointed out it's just human to generally care what people think about you even if you try not to care.
Floyd then had this line on President Trump, "Man, look, I think the only person in life who genuinely doesn’t care at all, what anyone thinks about him is Donald Trump. I’ve never met anyone that actually doesn’t care."
I think the exact opposite as believe Trump cares more than most what others think about him. I think he's super insecure and loves people's adulation. Sure he'll say stuff that pisses a ton of people off, but he loves people who say great things about him.
Floyd then said, "If you just stop caring what people think then there's really nothing prohibiting you from for doing whatever you want which is also bad. Which is what we have [in] Donald Trump. Which is at least my theory [of him]. Yours is the opposite. You might be right. Who knows."
So whose theory is right?
