Looking to run a faster 800 and 1500 this track season. Can’t change much in the department of mileage, workouts or intensity (the most important ingredients to success). I’ve done real weight strength training in the past, though this has dropped off completely in the last 6 months. Hoping to get back into a two times a week liftining schedule.
I already have a decent sprint times (22.8 hand timed, 50.9), but I’m hoping to drop that 400 under 50 this season. What I’m really here trying to get more information on is polymeric and other supplemental excercises for mid-distance guys to get better dynamic power. I’ve read a bit about what Seb Coe did but I couldn’t really find specifics or how to do these excercises. Please any information would help.
