He says he’s moving to Draper. I’m not sure which high school he is going to, but an option could be Corner Canyon. They are pretty competitive and they are in 5A, the same classification as Grant Gardner. There could be some great battles this track season.
How dare the boy jump ship to Utah! That's cheating for whatever school recruited him. Recruited, right? I mean, it must be a recruitment, because according to what I read on LetsRun, transfers to XC and track programs are recruited. What else could it possibly be???

Next year, Corner Canyon would be the fastest team in Utah and at worst the 3rd best team in SW without Easton Allred going to any Utah school. If he does end up going to Corner Canyon, they will be serious podium contenders at NXN. They got 5th at NXR last year, and are returning everyone except for their 5th man.

If he already went to Mountain Vista from the start of his freshman year, he would have never been ineligible to compete on varsity, and MV would have gotten at least 2nd instead 3rd at NXN in 2017.

If you hadn't posted such a lame sentence, the world would have been a better place.
Besides, you're wrong. Mountain Vista, CO wouldn't have advanced to NXN had Allred been on that team. He'd have slipped on a muddy patch during the 2017 NXR qualifying race, taking down another top runner from his team, and injuring them both. Thus, there would have been no Denver (Mountain Vista HS) at NXN in 2017.
"What if" Easton Allred had lived in Draper, Utah from the start of his freshman year? "What if" Easton Allred had turned left instead of right one day, thus ending up at soccer practice, not XC? What if RockAndRoll had never emerged from under that rock?
Thomas Boyden is also in 5a. He placed 13th at FL Nationals. Although I believe corner canyon will be 6a next fall
